Adam is a native Southern Californian and moved to Texas in 1995. In 2002 the LORD Jesus Christ transformed his life at the West Texas Nazarene youth retreat called Youth-A-Rama. Ever since, he says “I have been so overwhelmingly held by the love and faithfulness of God in Jesus that I cannot imagine living life any other way.” A few months after that encounter with Jesus he graduated from Grapevine High School. After a year of prayer and community college Adam felt God pointing him to Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, to pursue his calling to ministry. In 2007 he graduated from SNU and accepted the position as Youth Pastor of Metroplex Chapel starting in June. After several years of ministry, Adam says, “I have become more convinced that God is found as much, if not more, in the trials of life as in the successes of life.” On January 4, 2014, the exclamation point of God’s victory in love and faithfulness on his life became reality when he married Natasha. They currently live in Bedford, Texas, as two native Californians who take in the west coast beaches whenever they can. Adam loves baseball and football and most all other sports. He’s known as a Rangel fan (an Angel/Ranger baseball fan because of his equal love for both teams). He enjoys good food and a good cup of coffee. Most of all, Adam says, “I long to be more consumed with the love and goodness of God in Jesus as I find and seek Him daily through prayer and His word.”
