We believe that spiritual growth and maturity doesn’t just happen, we don’t drift into it. It must be pursued! Our Sunday Celebration Service is great, but getting connected with fellow believers in a small group is a key component to building a strong life of discipleship. There are always several opportunities to get plugged into a group, with new groups forming on a regular basis.

Check the tabs below periodically to find out what the current line-up is!

Nurture, Encourage, and Train — NETs is the Sunday morning adult small group. Whether you are married or single, young or more mature, this is a great way to begin your Sundays. We meet in the Fellowship Center located in the Main Office portion of our facility. Join us for a time of prayer, fellowship, and study on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Feel free to come early for coffee and donuts — and every now and then, get surprised by a great breakfast! NETs is led by Cheryl and Danny McMahan, former missionaries to the Philippines and former lead pastor.

Pastor Scott leads a men’s group on Tuesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. and it concludes in time to make it to work by 8:00 a.m. We meet in the Academy Conference Room of the Main Office portion of our facility. The group is studying the book When God Became King, by N.T. Wright. If you’re not in a small group, why not give Tuesday mornings a try?

This class meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It’s for men and women, married or single. This class is informal and engaging. A great opportunity to dig into the Word, ask questions, learn from others. We’re meeting in the Fellowship Center in the Main Office portion of our facility. This group is currently studying the Book of Isaiah. Bring your Bible, a notebook, and prepare to dig deep into the Word.

Okay, this group has commitment! We meet at 5:15 a.m. every Thursday morning, in Pastor Scott’s conference room. Dig deep into the Word, challenging discussion, great fellowship with guys who really want to go deeper with God.

On the second Saturday of most every month the men of Metroplex Chapel gather for a great home-style breakfast, a time of fellowship and encouragement. We meet in the Fellowship Center of the Main Office portion of our facility. Join us at 8:00 a.m. for a great meal — or come at 7:30 a.m. and help prepare it! Following breakfast we usually volunteer for a work project, either around the church facility, in conjunction with 6 Stones Mission Network, or just helping someone in need.

Women meet for an in-depth study led by Beth Moore and facilitated by Jamie McCurdy on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. They meet in the Academy Conference Room of the Main Office portion of our facility. The next study is: Breath, The Life of God in Us and begins September 9. There’s a big difference between being created by God and being invaded by God! Breath is a study reflecting on the person, the work and the power of the Holy Spirit. Feel free to bring a sack lunch!

This group meets every other Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the café at Market Street in Colleyville. It’s a great opportunity to connect and be challenged in an informal environment. Build friendships and see what God is speaking through others. Check out the Women’s Facebook page for the next gathering.

One Thursday night each month the women of Metroplex Chapel meet at Starbucks on 183 & Precinct Line in Hurst at 6:00 p.m., just to hang out, drink coffee or tea, and encourage one another. This is a great informal opportunity to connect with other women of Metroplex Chapel. Check out the Women’s Facebook page to see when the next gathering is.
